Porta is a 4th generation timber supplier and committed to providing architects and designers with the resources and knowledge on timber to assist them in specifying and designing with timber to achieve  optimal performance.

The aim of this presentation is to share their experience with the specifying community by providing practical advice for  those  who love the feel, warmth and aesthetics of timber but need advice on where to use timber effectively.

The presentation covers selecting sustainable timbers and the comparative performance of timbers, and maintenance tips such as coating types and performance.
