The City of Charles Sturt Place Makers grant program is now open.
Place Makers is a grant program to fund projects undertaken in public spaces that contribute to Charles Sturt’s vision for place making, can be easily implemented, and have high impact.
Through the grants, Charles Sturt is turning the transformation of public spaces over to the community; the residents, visitors and businesses who know their streets, parks, laneways, footpaths, and other areas, intimately.
Receiving a grant is a chance for local people to lead the change they want to see in their local area. You don’t need to live in the City of Charles Sturt but the project needs to be done within the city.
They are encouraging creative ideas to make places vibrant, inviting or interactive.
Prototyping, temporary or permanent installation ideas are welcome!
Applications close 5pm Monday 18 February 2019
